Key Features
The Endorphin.es Cockpit is a 4-channel stereo mixer designed for live performance. The Cockpit module features 4 channels that allow you to connect a variety of devices including a drum machine, synthesizer, MP3 player, and even your iOS devices simultaneously. The knobs are used like faders, allowing you to mix in the individual channels when performing. One of the most unique features is the on-board compressor that features sidechain control. This can be used to add dynamics or incorporate sidechain pumping into your mix, ideal for electronic music drops. Additionally, you can daisy chain as many Endorphin.es Cockpit modules as you like, adding more channels to suit your setup. On the back you can edit the jumpers to change the channels to either mono or stereo.

The Cockpit allows you to connect a variety of devices simultaneously. It features 2 ordinary jack ports and 2 3.5mm TRRS (AUX) ports that allow you to connect up a drum machine, and your iPad to create a unique performance. Daisy chain as many as you like to include all your favourite gear to mix whilst playing live. The mixer is built using analogue stereo VCAs with a smart digital control, so all audio is mixed in an analogue way, whilst the level of each channel is controlled with digital encoders.
The sidechain feature can be used to create a pumping/ducking effect for the required channel. You can choose to enable sidechain on a certain channel, ideal for when you want to sidechain a bass or synth to your kick. The sidechain compressor incorporates 3 different modes, each involving a different approach. You can either duck with CV, audio, or with triggers.
The Endorphin.es Cockpit features 2 different types of connectors. Channels 1 and 2 feature the ordinary jacks, which can be used to connect drum machines, synthesizers, and various other studio equipment. Channels 3 and 4 accept special 3.5mm (1/8'') TRRS plugs (usually called AUX) that can be used to connect your iOS devices such as an iPad or MP3 player, which you can use in your performance.
The 4 black knobs are the faders for your audio sources. They feature endless rotation and can also be clicked in to mute the channel. Whilst muted, you can also increase and decrease the volume level. Conveniently, the LEDs change brightness depending on the volume level of the channel, and turn red once muted, allowing you to easily keep track of the different channels.
