Instant Phaser Mk II
Presents to you the classic sound of vintage hardware phasing units in a convenient plug-in format. Introduced in 1971, the Eventide Instant Phaser was the first studio rackmount effect unit that eliminated the costly and tedious job of offsetting two tape recorders to create the classic tape flanging effect. Now, through an exceptionally accurate recreation of the original hardware unit, you can experience and implement the same classic studio effect into your projects with a host of modern features that accommodate contemporary producers and mixing engineers.
What made the original tape flanging sound was the combination of the dry signal with the delayed signal to create the signature sound. At the time, there was no such technology to delay the signal artificially, therefore the original Instant Phaser hardware was only an approximation of what was possible. With the Instant Phaser Mk II, you are experiencing an exact recreation of the sound that builds on what was possible with the original hardware unit.
Instant Flanger Mk II
Delivers the unmistakable sound of vintage hardware flanger units as a convenient and indistinguishable plug-in. Painstakingly modelled, every aspect of the original hardware unit has been convincingly recreated to provide the authentic vintage experience, down to all the discrepancies and irregularities of hardware units. Using a combination of proprietary DSP processing and analog recreation, the Instant Flanger presents a faithful recreation of the very first Eventide Instant Flanger hardware unit with an indistinguishable sound. With three different settings, you can achieve a wide variety of different sounds from subtle doubling and modulations to extreme flanging and wide-open stereo spreading.
H949 Harmonizer Plugin
Brings a classic back to life in digital form, providing a meticulous recreation of the iconic H949 Harmonizer. The H949 is known for its advanced micro pitch shifting and a range of other effects, including Reverse, Repeat, Flange, and Random controls. It also has an option with allows you to emulate two H949 units running in parallel which is great for doubling effects and stereo widening.
Mirroring the design of the original effects processor, the H949 features the same de-glitched pitch-shifting as the original with a stunning GUI (graphical user interface). Whether you're designing sounds or tweaking a mix, the H949 has something to offer for every engineering task. It utilises Eventide's unique single-sideband modulation technique for maximum precision when it comes to controlling pitch shifts.
Omnipressor
The first of its kind, the Omnipressor brought to life a host of effects in a dynamics processor to control all aspects of dynamics in your signal. Pioneering the innovative side-chain and look-ahead functions, the omnipressor took dynamic control to the next level that made it a staple in many recording rigs of world-class engineers and musicians. An immaculate replica of the original hardware, the Omnipressor plug-in faithfully delivers the same classic sonic signature and flexibility that made the original hardware revered among industry professionals. With a threshold function as well as attack and release times you have complete control over the envelope of your dynamics processing along with gain and attenuation limiting to chop off any audible peaks in output level and attenuation. A highly flexible 'function' dial lets you set compression and expansion ratios over a wide and continuous range to infinite compression and beyond.
H910 Harmonizer
Delivering the unmistakable character of the original, the H910 Harmonizer plug-in accurately presents the combination of pitch shifting, modulation and delay to create the staple and revered sound that's simply not possible with anything else! An extremely powerful and creative tool, H910 lets you create musical harmonies for wide-spread guitars, huge snares and organic synth detunes. At the heart of the H910 is the system clock that drifted and wobbled, introducing a degree of randomness in the circuit that provided the original hardware with the signature pitch change glitch. In extreme settings, you can create a unique mix of unheard-of drone effects that can push into self-oscillation.
SP2016 Reverb
Introduced in 1982, the SP2016 Reverb unit was the first programmable effect box available on the market and introduced the concept of 'plug-in' to the world of professional recording studios. Now available as a pristine plug-in format for your DAW, the SP2016 delivers the signature natural and distinctive sound to your mixes and projects. Emulating every aspect of the space in a physical environment, the SP2016 Reverb captures everything from the early reflections, the density of the echos and the decay of the tail to deliver the most authentic reverb sound available to date. Including authentic emulations of the original reverb sounds, the SP2016 Reverb features three different reverb types, each with two versions: Vintage and Modern. The Vintage modes are incredibly faithful to the original reverb tones available on the hardware unit, whereas the Modern modes are tweaked to meet the demands of modern producers, whereby they are brighter, more diffuse and higher bit-depth.
