Rotatable HPS waveguide technology
Utilising cutting-edge technology, ADAM Audio has created one of the most efficient tweeters available within studio monitors. The X-Art Tweeter alongside the newly introduced rotatable HPS (high-frequency propagation system) waveguide technology delivers a consistent dispersion resulting in a broad horizontal axis with a highly focused vertical plane. The HPS technology means you can shift the tweeter in 90-degree steps so its suitable for both horizontal and vertical orientations. This allows you to enjoy resonant and distortion-free sound reproduction ensuring the best possible audio fidelity and sound performance.
X-ART Tweeter delivers sparkling high-end
The X-ART tweeter is based on ADAM Audio’s proprietary X-ART principle, with a slim pleated foil is used for the tweeter’s diaphragm for added precision and optimal quality in the high-end frequency range. The precise transient response of the X-ART tweeter ensures the best possible audio quality, retaining every nuance of the original signal for optimal transparency and audio fidelity.
Hybrid amplification provides powerful sound
At the heart of the A77H is a trifecta of amplifiers combining the best elements of analog and digital technology to deliver a linear performance with minimal distortion. Hand-picked for their efficiency and power; the tri-amplified design provides the perfect balance of transparent sound reproduction and power consumption.
Driven by Class-D amplifiers, the woofers deliver low thermal dissipation which allows for a smaller heat sink, which overall results in improved power and performance. The midrange driver and tweeter are powered via Class AB amplifiers which provide natural reproduction of the high frequencies. Each amplifier has been specially chosen to suit each component, resulting in a fine-tuned, proper aligned speaker.
Dual multi-layer mineral woofers and bass reflex system
The new, custom A Series woofers are constructed from a special blend of mineral stone fibres which are baked simultaneously resulting in a robust and stable material. The specialised material and unique manufacturing process is suited to the specific driver from each model within the A Series. Building on the success of the previous tri-amplified monitors; the A77H features a bass-reflex cabinet with a new, deeper bevel which helps to reduce unwanted internal vibrations. Not only that, but the bass port itself has been optimised with a flare design to optimise airflow
MLM midrange driver
As the new flagship studio monitor for the A Series; the A77H boasts the most detailed sound of the entire series thanks to the innovative midrange driver. The MLM midrange driver is adapted from the DCH midrange driver found in the S Series speakers, optimising and redefining the design to deliver exceptional clarity in all ranges. The dedicated midrange driver helps to deliver a clean overall sound whilst optimise the low and high content of the woofer and tweeter.
Introducing custom ‘Voicing’ sound profiles
One of the most innovative new features to the A Series is ‘Voicings’. Voicings are pre-defined sound profiles that allow you to adapt to any situation. The three Voicing settings are comprised of UNR (Uniform Natural Response), Pure and Ext (extended functionality).
UNR delivers a natural-sounding response curve, custom-designed by ADAM Audio to replicate the sound of legacy products such as the AX series. It is the perfect sound profile for song writing and composition, providing an engaging sound to will spark your creativity. It is also the best option for casual music listening.
Pure provides the utmost accuracy with an overall natural sound. Comparable to other speaker’s flat settings, the ‘Pure’ setting is perfect for mixing and mastering applications.
A Control software over Ethernet
Want to control multiple speakers at once? The A Control software available for the new A Series allows you to control your monitors remotely via Ethernet. Available for those who have registered their monitors, the A Control software allows you to control monitor levels, voicing, EQ and attenuation settings from your computer.
Advanced room correction and Sonarworks integration
On the rear of the A Series monitor is a four-band EQ for adapting your sound to any space. The four bands include Bass, Desk, Presence and Treble. The band-adjustable design offers more than 100 tuning options in total, ensuring the best possible audio performance no matter where you place your speakers. Not only that, but the A Series also provides deep integration for the Sonarworks software, allowing you to use a measurement microphone to calibrate your speaker for a certain space.
SubZero M1000 Reference Microphone
Measure your room
Due to the tailored dynamic range of the M100, it is designed for use it in conjunction with audio analysing hardware or software to create a visual projection of the acoustic properties of your room or space. You can then make necessary changes with acoustic treatment, or by tweaking your sound system, to achieve optimised results. The microphone comes with a foam wind protector for when using outdoors and a clip for attaching to microphone stands.
