DISC Vermona Action Filter 4 Overview
The Vermona Action Filter 4 builds on the success of the original Action Filter, first developed over twelve years ago. The Action Filter 4 is a versatile filtering unit that provides a notch and band-pass filter. The Action Filter 4 doesn’t include automation by choice, giving you full control over your frequencies, and allowing you to manually sweep them and blend the effect in and out rhythmically.
The sleek, rack-mountable unit features rotary chrome controls, allowing you to change the cutoff and resonance of each filter. There is also a 'Style' button on the front-panel that allows you to change the tonal characteristics from 'Rough' to 'Smooth'.

The Vermona Action Filter 4 is the latest in the Action Filter series, building on the success of previous models, delivering a flexible stereo filter, ideal for a range of applications. The Action Filter 4 has been refined and improved from its predecessor, still keeping its original concept and design while improving functionality. The Action Filter 4 includes two main filters - ‘Notch’ and ‘Band’; designed to kill off or boost specific frequencies, dependent on the application. The high and low pass filter combination per stereo channel makes it ideal for everything from vocals to instruments.
Tone & Character
The streamlined layout includes symmetrical controls for each channel. Both channels include a large, chrome Cutoff control, as well as a smaller resonance control. These chrome controls allow you to precisely dial in the right amount of effect, enabling you to control the tone and character of your source material. Also included is a switchable ‘Style’ button that allows you to change between ‘Rough’ and ‘Smooth’ settings for more impact, or subtle sound. The filter mode itself is represented by a vintage-style, two-position switch. In the centre of the unit is a rotary gain control as well as a trigger bypass switch.

The robust, all-metal chassis features integrated rack-ears that allow you to fit this unit into a studio or live rack. Its compact size takes up only a single unit of space, making it perfect for the space conscious audio professional.
