Teenage Engineering ZM-4 Line Input Module Overview
The Teenage Engineering ZM-4 Line Input Module is an expander for your OP-Z, encompassing additional audio inputs as well as a host of sync options. Transform your OP-Z to a performance powerhouse and connect to a wide range of external devices with your ZM-4. Stereo line inputs allow you to connect external audio devices while stereo outputs with dual-mono function allows you to send your audio to external mixers, interfaces, effects pedals and much more.
Control other equipment within your system using the onboard MIDI input and output such as MIDI synths and drum machines. Additionally, Trigger inputs and outputs offer the ability to send and receive sequenced patterns with the click of one button to multiple devices in your setup as well as Pocket Operator connectivity to patch in your favourite sounds on the go.

Say goodbye to complex routing when adding external devices to your OP-Z. With the ZM-4 Line Input Module, you can connect virtually any audio source seamlessly with both audio input and stereo output. Connect your favourite effects pedals and create effects loops, add backing tracks from drum machines or your favourite synth sound without the hassle. The stereo output can even be used as a dual mono output, allowing you to separate and process each track individually.
Stay on beat
An extremely handy addition, the Sync inputs and outputs eliminate the need for external clocks to maintain time, now you can remain on beat with all of your time-based effects such as reverb and delay.
The brains of your system
An essential tool with modern synthesizers and sequencers is the use of MIDI. The ZM-4 features MIDI in and out, allowing you to control external synthesizers through your OP-Z sequencer. Conversely, the ZM-4's MIDI out can be used to power your OP-Z through external equipment such as a keyboard or computer.
