Combining a low-pass filter with built-in VCA in an AS3109 integrated circuit, the Erica Synths Black 3109 delivers an authentic replication of the sonic signature heard on all of your favourite vintage Japanese synthesizers. Improving on the original design, the Black 3109VCF/VCA includes a toggle switch for volume compensation as well as including 1V/oct tracking, offering the ability to use the module for VCF for keyboard tracking.

The Black 3109 is built around the AS3109 VCF integrated circuit, comprised of a low-pass filter and VCA to authentically recreate this signature tone. Not satisfied with only presenting you with a carbon copy of the original, the Erica Synths Black 3109 VCF/VCA improves on the existing design, giving you the best experience and tonal qualities as possible. Addressing issues such as the inherent volume drop is rectified with a volume compensation as well as the inclusion of a built-in VCA, offering a tremendous range of versatility in a compact 10HP module. The Erica Synths Black Filter Coupler is a satellite module for the Black High Pass and the Black Low Pass VCFs and now also the Black 3109 VCF/VCA, adding versatile Bandpass and Band Reject filter functionality to your modular system. Please note, that the Black Filter Coupler works only with Erica Synths modules and you need both Black High-Pass and Low-Pass VCFs.Features
