For ease and comfort, the controls of the 700 FS are laid out below the keys. This is great if the synth is positioned on top of another instrument, no longer will you have to stand up to make adjustments to your sound. Any and all changes can be made in an instant from the comfort of your seat.
Innovative features
When it was originally released, the large scale nature of the 700s electronics left little room for more features. Due to the small space inside, the mono-synth had reduced functionality. Over time, electronics have gotten smaller and technology has gotten more powerful. Korg have taken full advantage of this. The influx of space has allowed the 700 FS to now include a spring reverb. Rich, dark and resonant, you'll find this excellent for adding an unmistakable sense of depth to your sound.
What's more, the intuitive joystick provides incredible pitch bend and modulation possibilities. Other new exciting features include aftertouch, granting you even more expression, whilst the on-board arpeggiator will add a new lease of life to any source. The all new memory program eradicates the need for users to remember or write down the positions of the knobs and levers to recreate their sound. This can be adjusted at the touch of one button. It doesn't get much better than this!
Additional functionality
Inspired by the 700S, the 700 FS model features expanded functionality. It boasts not one but two oscillators, allowing you to achieve weird and wonderful sounds. Adjust these in real-time to taste to create de-tuned, thick sonics that will break through even the densest of mixes.

To commemorate the legacy of the 700, the 700 FS comes complete with a custom-built hard case. This is perfect for those who wish to protect their synthesizer on the road, or when it's not in use.
