Build the foundation of your tone with four iconic DI models
Designed for the modern bass player, B6 features four meticulously modelled DI box sounds to give you a wide tonal palette to build your sounds upon. With two Solid-State and two Tube DI models, you can find the right sound that pairs with your bass guitar electronics to deliver the tone of your dreams. Tube 1 delivers a rich harmonic content with thick, low frequencies making it perfect for more relaxed and groove-based music such as hip-hop, jazz and R&B. Tube 2 cuts through the mix with a clear attack and tight low frequencies, making it the ideal partner for faster, energetic music such as metal, punk or rock and roll - it's particularly useful for five string players to keep your low notes articulate and punchy. Solid State 1 is a squishy, compressed sound that maintains a strong fundamental, ideal for upright bass or piezo electronics to maximise the punch without losing the character of the bass. Lastly, Solid State 2 is as clean as they come, with little character impression and zero distortion, this is ideal for boutique instrument players looking for articulate and defined tones that suit slap bass perfectly!
Processed by legendary Zoom technology, no matter what DI type you need for your sound, the B6 Multi Effects Bass Processor will deliver super-fat bottom end thanks to the analogue circuit modelling as well as an articulate top end from the 88.2kHz sampling frequency.

Be ready for any situation with flexible performance modes
No matter what type of gig, recording session or rehearsal you're called to, you can always be ready with the Zoom B6. Featuring four play modes, you can modify how you use the Zoom B6 depending on the call you get for your next gig! Switchable via the dedicated stomp switch, you can choose between Effect Board, Bank/Patch, Memory and Looper modes.
In Effect Board mode, you are given a visual representation of your signal path whereby each of the six simultaneous effects will be assigned to a stomp you can switch on and off within your chain. This will be home base for many players as it gives you immediate access to different effects within your chain to punch in or out depending on the needs of the song.
Bank/Patch mode lets you scroll through the 240 user patches by clicking on the corresponding footswitch. For session players, this will be ideal for quickly recalling one of your custom-made presets to get the job done quickly in the studio.
Memory mode is the ultimate tool for live musicians. Here, you can organise your patches and allow each footswitch to active one of 4 patches in each bank. This allows you to have multiple unique signal chains comprised of different amps, cabinets and effects throughout different songs within your setlist.
Lastly, Looper mode does exactly what it says. Loop up to two hours directly onto an SD card to add layers and texture to your sound. Buskers or solo performers can use this to build a platform on which to create the rest of your song and using the built-in Rhythm patterns, you have your entire rhythm section inside of your B6.
Outside of the Play Modes, Zoom B6 features two separate inputs with an A/B switch on the reverse of the unit. Switch between two of your electric, piezo, upright or acoustic basses and change the impedance between 1M to 10M ohms to achieve the perfect sound for your bass type.
Get lost in a world of amps, cabinets and effects
Creating you patches for your Zoom B6 Multi Effects Bass Processor can seem daunting, however with the 4.3-inch touch screen it's easy to arrange your signal path by simply dragging and dropping!
