Key Features
Product Ref: 81535
Like all models in Le Preamp series, Le Crunch is equipped with a True High Voltage Design running internally at 200 volts to preserve the interaction between you and your guitar while working perfectly with your other effect pedals. Le Crunch combines the greatest tones of the classic British stack of amps that have defined Rock’n’Roll since the late 60s. In addition, it also provides you with unique tube warmth and dynamics, housed in a convenient pedal unit.
Le Crunch is equipped with an analog speaker simulation which is specifically voiced for your Le Preamp Model, and based on the original Two Notes Torpedo simulator. This speaker simulation affects the DI output and the headphones output, offering you a superb sound. Le Crunch is also compatible with plugins, and allows you to download up to 16 additional cabs, for a versatile choice of tones.
As well as providing you with classic British rock tone, Le Crunch is equipped with two channels which are independent from each other, and feature their own EQ controls and footswitch. Channel A delivers a lower gain tube stage with a pre-gain EQ, with a vintage characteristic and ideal fast playing styles. Channel B offers more gain and a very powerful post-EQ with mid sweep.
As well as offering two independent channels, this dual channel preamp also features Fusion mode, which can be activated by simultaneously pressing both footswitches. Fusion mode features two sections, including Hot and Cold. Whilst using the cold fusion, players can benefit from the best of both worlds, as both channels are in parallel. Cold fusion offers a range of tones with clarity and articulation. Hot Fusion puts both channels in cascade with each other, and delivers a huge gain and sustain. When combined with the EQ, you can easily shape your sound and achieve optimum results.
