Firstly, release the latch by pressing on the tabs. Then slide the string cleaner in an open position, under the strings. Close the device over the strings. Hold the handle and begin to slide the device up and down the neck of the guitar, as many times as desired. Once finished, press the tabs again and remove in an open position
How To Clean The String Cleaner?
ToneGear advises that guitarists clean their strings after every use. Players should clean the microfibre pads regularly to ensure optimum use. Start by releasing the latch and opening the device, as you would to use the product. Then rinse the pads under warm water and add a small amount of liquid soap. Massage the soap into the pads and rinse off. Once completed, dab the pads with a dry towel and leave open to fully dry. Do not use The String Cleaner when it is wet, as the fibre is more likely to become damaged.
