The Hellraiser features a set of EMG 808 humbuckers that deliver powerfully heavy tones. The humbuckers feature alnico V magnets, and wide aperture coils that beef up the lower strings, eliminating a muddy F# string for a tone that has plenty of clarity. The EMG 808 also offers the presence and dynamics that an 8-string guitar requires, and provides a tight, responsive sound that can articulate every note played.
This model is a well-balanced guitar which produces aggressive and crunchy sounds to rich, clean tones that are perfect for the modern-day player. The quilted maple top provides a great resonance, enhancing the natural tones of the body wood, whilst the maple provides a stylish and unique look. Its mahogany body offers naturally warm tones, with a touch of bite for creating tights lows and appealing highs. It also comes with abalone binding, black chrome hardware, and a Hipshot hardtail bridge. To top it off the Hellraiser is given a black cherry finish to create a stunning guitar that reflects the tones it can produce.
The 3-piece mahogany neck and rosewood fingerboard has been designed with a thin "C" shape for a smooth, fast play, whilst the naturally oily rosewood fingerboard absorbs stray overtones for a rich sound. Its neck has been designed with carbon fibre reinforcement rods to ensure it stays stable and reduces any strain from the strings. The combination of woods produce warm, mellow tones with complex highs, thick, creamy lows, and an appealing midrange. It also comes with many other features including Schecter Locking machine heads and Gothic cross inlays on the fingerboard for a perfect performing guitar.
