Volume and versatility. PRS electronics are renowned for their huge range of authentic tones. The S2's 81/15S pickups provide serious bang for your buck, with a classic,searing-hot output at both the bridge and the neck positions.
Use the three-way blade switch selector to choose between the 85/15S Treble's in-your-face, bridge humbucker crunch, the Bass version's thicker, neck-position tone, or a blend of the two. For even more options, engage the push-pull tone pot to coil-tap your humbuckers, lowering their output for a creamy, classic rock sound.
Total control
Hardware you can rely on. The PRS S2 Custom 22 is equipped with state-of-the-art hardware which will let you play in total confidence. There's a world class PRS patented tremolo bridge, which keeps your tuning truly stable, whilst also facilitating use of the whammy bar. You can put as much wide, subtle, or spacey vibrato into your riffs as you like, with complete tuning reliability. The Phase II locking tuners also help to keep your tuning dialled in for exceptional note accuracy and a stellar sound.
