The 1936G 2x12 is based on Marshall’s iconic 1936 cabinet, delivering excellent projection and tonal richness that accommodates a wide range of amplifier head sizes. It is solidly constructed and built to survive the rigours of gigging and touring with its recessed carry handles and rubber feet. It features a closed-back design which gives excellent projection with a focused response. It carries the same heritage as the 1936 cab; renowned for its rugged construction and quality tones.
Celestion Greenbacks
The Marshall 1936G is equipped with a pair of 12'' Celestion Greenback speakers, offering a total of 50 watts of pure guitar power perfect for a variety of venues. The Greenback speaker is designed for a focused mid-range response with a well-controlled low-end, creating an excellent punch and projection that only multiple speakers can deliver. Its ceramic construction gives this speaker cabinet a unique voice, producing incredibly loud and assertive characteristics with a restrained top-end and well-controlled low-end.
