The Ibanez GSR200SM Bass features a lightweight poplar body topped with stunning spalted maple, creating a unique aesthetic which will enhance anyone’s stage presence. The poplar is coupled with a maple neck and treated New Zealand pine fingerboard, offering bright, balanced tones which suit a variety of musical styles. The body’s smooth, unique contours provide an incredibly comfortable playing experience, while the neck and fingerboard offer a quick, fast play.
Versatile & Expressive Standard Pickups
This GIO Bass Guitar comes equipped with two powerful Standard bass pickups in a classic "P/J" configuration. This tried-and-tested combination, of a punchy "P"-style split coil neck pickup and mellow "J"-style single coil bridge pickup, allows the instrument to achieve everything from warm jazz sounds to thunderous rock tones.
Controls & Phat II Equaliser
Incorporating individual volume controls for each pickup, the GSR200SM allows you to blend both pickup tones to create unique full sounds. The master tone control shapes the bass’ frequency response, letting you dial in your own desired preference. Additionally, the built in Phat-II EQ circuitry allows active style bass boosting via its one channel EQ preamp, deliver a beefy and deep tone for when you need to add an extra layer of thunder.
