The legendary Les Paul Standard
The sound that inspired generations. Loved by countless professionals, if you think of a classic rock guitar, you probably think of the Les Paul Standard. So when designing this guitar, Gibson took everything that makes a classic '60s Les Paul so special - and put it all into one instrument. Unmistakable looks, unbelievable sound, exceptional playability; everything has been recreated with meticulous attention to detail in order to create the best guitar possible. If you want something that embodies the best of Gibson, look no further than the Les Paul Standard '60s.
Exquisite electronics
Bursting with sound. The set of 61 Burstbucker pickups used in the Les Paul Standard '60s give you mountains of warm, vintage tone. Constructed from powerful Alnico V magnets, Burstbucker 61 pickups are high-output versions of Gibson's classic PAF pickups. They take the classic design of the PAF and add a little extra bite to the sound.
With the traditional layout of dual tone and volume knobs, you have full control over your sound. Hand-wired with highly sought after orange drop capacitors, each circuit is designed to give you a precise and consistent tone. This expertly assembled circuit delivers everything you would expect from a classic Les Paul - plenty of warmth and plenty of power.
Quality tonewood construction
Premium craftsmanship. The choice of tonewoods used in the Les Paul vastly contributes to its fat, powerful sound. A solid mahogany body gives plenty of depth and warmth, while the AA figured maple top not only provides a beautiful finish to the guitar, it also adds extra brightness and cut to the sound. Just like in the '60s, the Les Paul continues to inspire generations of musicians with its unique sound. With the Gibson Les Paul Standard '60s, you can experience the classic combination of quality tonewoods that helped make the Les Paul such an iconic instrument.
The neck that dreams are made of
The pinnacle of playability. With a slim taper '60s profile, the mahogany neck on the '60s Les Paul Standard is a breeze to play. Thinner than an original '50s neck, the slimmer design fits comfortably in your hand. This allows for faster, more intricate playing in any position on the fretboard.
Speaking of which, in order to create the smoothest playing experience possible, Gibson have decided to use a rosewood fretboard. Rosewood adds extra warmth and exceptional sustain to your sound. It also reacts naturally to your playing, so you'll feel right at home as you glide to any of the 22 Medium Jumbo frets. With this incredible neck, your playing will flow effortlessly from note to note - resulting in a guitar that you won't want to put down.
Classic style for the modern player
Vintage looks with exceptional performance. The Gibson Les Paul Standard '60s is made to bring the best of classic Les Pauls to modern musicians. The tried and tested Tune-O-Matic bridge and Grover Rotomatic tuners allow for quick string changes, whilst providing world-class tuning stability that can keep up with even the most aggressive players. And with a modern Graph Tech nut, you also get consistent string balance for optimal playability. If you want the classic sound and unmistakable style of a classic '60s Les Paul, with perfected tuning performance, this is the guitar for you.

Have peace of mind that your pride and joy is safe and secure. The Les Paul Standard '60s comes with an included hard shell case which is perfect for keeping your guitar secure during transit.
