Is the Deluxe for you?
With two versions of the ParaEQ it can be hard to decide if you need the extra EQ horsepower of the Deluxe. Both versions offer a stunningly transparent signal path for versatile tone shaping, but the Deluxe goes a step further with its inclusion of high-pass and low-pass filters, in addition to Baxandall filters.
If you're a player that needs to shape their sound to a super fine degree and work at the extremes of frequencies, or if you're looking to create entirely new tones, the extra capabilities of the Deluxe will not disappoint.
Boost your sound
Make your sound distinct. Offering up to 30db of clean boost, the ParaEQ can provide plenty of sonic muscle to the tone you've sculpted. It's ideal for providing gain before an effects chain, minimising noise, or overdriving the input of a tube amplifier.
And because it's controllable through a separate switch, the boost will only be engaged when you want it! (as indicated by its LED light)
Shape the sound to your liking
Whether you're performing or recording, a robust EQ is vital to shape and sculpt an effective tone. The ParaEQ MK II offers studio grade shaping in an intuitive set of controls, allowing for easy tone tuning. These consist of low, mid, and high gain and frequency knobs to boost or cut each element of your sound.
With the knobs set at noon there's no boost or cut applied. Turn them to the left to cut up to -15db, or push to the right to boost up to +15db - allowing you to tame or emphasise each component of your tone.
Create or control - it's up to you!
With such a powerful array of tone shaping option at your command, your sonic options are almost endless! From adjusting your signal to sit better in a mix to creating new sounds, the ParaEQ can do it. It's not just for the scientific fine-tuning of sound engineers, no! You can create totally new tones through the dynamic controls.

Why use it over a graphics EQ
If you're after the ultimate level in transparency and precision, the ParaEQ is the only choice! Graphics EQ pedals are very popular due to their visual representations of EQ curves, however, they have a tendency to influence your entire frequency band rather than the specific block that ParaEQ will effect.
In addition, because the parametric EQ treats your signal with a high degree of transparency, it makes it a superb choice for corrective and creative actions on your pedalboard.
