The EVH 5150 Iconic 15W 110 Combo is an amp with high levels of thunderous tube power. Despite its affordable price point, nothing has been sacrificed tonally. The all-tube design consists of a set of world class valves - a 6L6 in the power amp and two ECC83S's in the preamp. You'll be able to slice through the mix, especially when you engage the red channel's 'Burn' button, which adds blistering crunch for spectacular lead lines.
This amp boasts a wide range of tone-shaping controls to help you get the best sonic results. There are two channels for you to play with, each with its own Gain and Volume dials for perfect volume matching. Green is for cleans or dry crunch, red for high gain, and saturated mayhem. Then you've got the regular three-band EQ for shaping each frequency to perfection. On top of this, there are Reverb, Resonance, and Presence controls for adding extra flair and control to your tone.
