DISC Supro 1605R Reverb 1x8 Combo Overview
This is a single-ended class A amplifier sporting a single 6V6. The Supro 1605R Reverb 1x8 Combo sings with authority with its midrange roar, this is what distinguishes between the popular British, and American classics. The 1605R also creatively implemented its outputs; so you can feed other amplifiers and use the reverb independently. The valve-driven reverb has a sperate output for recording the 'wet' signal, which you can use to great effect in post-production. You can also use the 'dry' output to connect to other amplifiers to further push the gain of the 1605R into a great, fuzzy overdrive.
The 1605R has a meticulously designed speaker that was built by Jensen exudes all those lush vintage tones adored by recording guitarists. The main benefit of a small speaker like this is the bandwidth is compressed, EQ adjustments are only ever going to be very minimal, so you are never fighting or compensating your tone in a mix - it's why small amps sound massive on record.

The 1605R features classic clean tones that have huge note definition with a bell-like quality to the upper registers, especially with single-coil equipped guitars. Humbuckers help push the amp a little harder and warm up the response without sounding muddy. These amplifiers are incredibly 'touch-sensitive' and beautifully responsive. When you set your amplifier at the point of break up, you to can either dig in and hear that incredible break-up or just hold off a bit and your amp will naturally clean up.
Use the valve spring reverb on anything you want
You can use the 1605R as a reverb unit for other amps or when recording or you could use the reverb out and send that into a mixers AUX channel and apply this reverb to any track you want! You can also separate the dry signal of the amp and the reverb to separate channels which gives you new flexibility when you are post-processing.
A new future for old design
Peaking inside, you can see the Eminence designed SS-8 8'' Speaker. This was developed by looking at a 1960's original Jensen with laser scanning assistance from Iowa State University. This ensures a faithful recreation of its vintage counterpart which perfectly complements the voicing of this incredible amplifier. The SS-8 elicits a focused mid-range and a beautiful bite to the trebles which only works to extenuate the qualities of this amp.
