The Synyster's top has been crafted from Spruce, while the back and side panels are high quality mahogany. The Spruce top offers a broad, dynamic tone with a crisp feel to it, providing a powerful sound. Its spruce can retain its clarity no matter how hard the guitar is played. The mahogany further enhances the overall sound as it produces tones that are warm and soft, with a good balance of grind and bite where needed. Offering plenty of depth and punch to the guitars tone, the mahogany helps to emphasize the Schecter’s midrange, providing a tone that is dark.
Stunning tonewoods
Its mahogany neck produces a fat, warm tone with a mellow feel to it and has an incredible sustain, while its rosewood fingerboard adds to the guitar's warmth, whilst softening up the sound and giving it a natural feel. The combination of tone woods offer complex highs, thick, creamy lows, and an appealing midrange. Synyster’s J Electro Acoustic Guitar also features Grover machine heads and pearloid gothic inlays on the fingerboard, with an SYN and death beat inlay as well.
A gigging musician's dream
The Schecter features Fishman electrons, with an Isys+ on-board preamp system and sonicore piezo pickup. This pickup is designed to capture the pure tone of the acoustic guitar and produce the natural sounds when played through an amplifier. The Isys+ system offers controls over shaping the sound that the guitar produces without the need for an external preamp system. With controls bass and treble, the system also comes with a built-in tuner to keep the guitar in tune, no matter where you are.
