Made with performers in mind. Every inch of the PDP Concept Series was designed for live performance, with a pile of features that allow you to set up your drums quickly and accurately. From its adjustable spring rockers to its beater shaft memory locks, PDP's mission is to get you set up perfectly and playing as quickly as possible.
No stone was left unturned in the search for peak practicality. Offsetting the toe clamp to the right of the footplate means you can tighten it up without having to lift the mechanism and fiddle around underneath it. Meanwhile the single-post-style frame provides a boutique look, as well as unfettered access to the drum key, springs and retractable spurs, so you can easily make adjustments and get back to what you do best - performing.
DW Control Beater
Put yourself in the driving seat. The DW Control Beaters, included with the Concept Direct Series pedals, provide you with interchangeable weights and three striking surfaces; flat plastic, hard flat felt and spherical felt. The interchangeable weights and striking surfaces allow you to experiment, change your set-up and find your optimal throw, feel and sound.The hard flat felt offers maximum surface contact, providing a booming, resonant bass drum sound. The spherical felt is rounded and offers small surface contact. This provides a more direct connection, producing maximum clarity. The choice is yours!
