Aquarian's Focus-X Series drum heads are constructed from a single ply of medium-weight, 10mil film, with an integrated 'vented' muffling ring fitted to the underside. The heads are available in both clear and coated versions, and with or without a power dot. Offering a clean, balanced sound with reduced high-frequencies, the Focus-X series heads are a great choice for studio and recording drumming, or alternatively gigging drummers who value a flat sound during their performances. The single ply of 10mil film makes these heads durable, but not ideal for the hardest hitting drummers.
