The body is made of hard rubber which gives superior tone and projection compared with clarinets with resin composite bodies. Humidity Resistant Body

The use of ebonite in woodwind instruments ensures a durable build, whilst keeping the resonant qualities normally seen in natural wood. The material is composed of a hard rubber that is not affected by humidity and maintains elements of musicality that cannot be found in most student clarinets made from ABS plastic. Offering tonal properties comparable to wood, the sound chamber is pourous and provides a rich and full sound that will carry you from grade to grade. The Deluxe Clarinet is finished with a Grenadilla wood effect that gives it a professional look that will not look out of place in orchestras and ensembles.
