Stories

The new addition of the stories feature allows you to create complete soundtracks with maximum ease. By combining multiple instruments and effects from across Lumina into a single Kontakt instrument you can simply select a story with a title that matches the thematic mood you are aiming to accomplish and experiment. Another unique feature is the automatic keyboard mapping and controller assignments which allow you to play numerous instruments from your selected story all on one keyboard.

Textures & Gestures

The Textures and Gestures category is a range of percussive and unique textures that can be used to add depth and ambience to your soundtrack. Divided into 3 sub folders (Fantasy, Mystery and Cartoon) the textures and gestures are extremely navigate and have a patch suitable for every scenario desired tone.

Playable Instruments

Playable instruments hold the key to any movie/tv sound track. With catchy melodies conveying happiness and ominous melodies used to evoking a negative atmosphere Lumina comes with a huge arsenal of playable instruments whether it's the full choir, harps, woodwinds, brass or even full orchestra patches. Also featuring advanced and realistic articulations, multiple microphone positions and controllable dynamics ProjectSAM Lumina is a ground breaking virtual instrument that was created by professionals for professionals.

Legato Soloists

The Legato section incorporates a range of instruments such as alto flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, soprano, trumpet and tin whistle. All these instruments have been captured in incredibly hi-fidelity and have been carefully programmed to emulate realistic legato playing style allowing for a seamless and advanced realism.

Dystopia

Dystopia is the final section within Lumina which features a huge variety of weird, wonderful and spooky sounds that have been created from advanced processing and manipulation of other sounds within ProjectSAM Lumina. With additional effects and manipulation you can adjust the preset patches to create your own unique sounds. This collection of sounds can just about make or break any film/tv/game score whether used for dramatic tension builds, light hearted sections or horror suspense there is a Dytopia tone for it.
