64 Channels Of Pristine Audio

Antelope Audio’s Orion32 HD Audio Interface provides the perfect balance between versatile connectivity and pristine audio quality. The 64 channels of I/O provide you with more than enough channels to work with, even for larger, demanding projects. The 32-in/32-out via DB25 configuration allows you to connect a range of external audio gear, without limiting your mixing abilities. The Orion32 HD Interface provides exceptional clarity and accuracy when it comes to digital conversion, thanks to the best-in-class 64-bit Acoustically Focused Clocking (AFC) jitter management technology. With the Orion32 HD the conversion delivers exceptional depth and detail in the stereo imaging as well as transient accuracy, ensuring precise audio capture and playback. The mastering-grade monitor output is taken from Antelope Audio’s highly-popular Pure2 Mastering Converter, ensuring optimal signal integrity for the best possible audio performance.

Supreme Clocking Technology

In addition to its pristine audio quality and analog to digital conversion, the Orion32 HD is powered by Antelope Audio’s 64-Bit clocking technology with two Word Clocks or Loopsync Outs, Word Clock or LoopSync & Antelope 10M/10MX Atomic Clock inputs. This wide range of quality clocking technology ensures optimal performance value and audio quality, helping to deliver the high sample rates and simultaneous streaming of the 64 channels. The 10M/10MX Clock inputs give you the ability to connect Antelope Audio’s popular 10M or 10MX atomic clocks for remarkable sonic integrity. The dual Word Clock or Loopsync Outs allow you to use the Orion32 HD as the centrepiece of your recording setup allowing you to utilise the world-class conversion technology for exceptional audio performance in any configuration.

Custom Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA)

Antelope Audio have been steadily revolutionising audio processing technology, with its wide range of FPGA effects, providing hardware models of the most in-demand vintage effects on the market at almost zero-latency. Antelope’s library of FPGA effects is constantly growing, with a wide range of effects ranging from equalisers and compressor to guitar amplifier models and more. The ultra-fast FPGA processing only measures at 2 samples of audio latency, which is as close to real-time as it gets, reacting almost instantaneously to deliver exceptional analog warmth and crunch.

Design & Connectivity

The Orion32 HD Audio Interface is housed in an ultra-robust metal chassis for optimal durability and performance. The highly-efficient 'green' design features no fans inside, eliminating the need for expensive machine rooms or ISO racks. The lack of an internal fan also makes the Orion32 HD near-silent, minimising any noise pollution, perfect for professional studio settings. The 1U single-rack space design is ideal for the space-conscious user and home studios, taking up the minimal amount of space possible. The analog I/O is handled by the 8 DB25 connectors as well as the MADI, ADAT and S/PDIF connectivity, providing a wide range of digital connectivity for using the interface as a keystone in your recording and mixing projects. You can also control the Orion32 HD via the OS X & Windows compatible app, allowing you to control routing, mixing and real-time effects conveniently from your computer or portable device.
