Designed and built in the German factory that Sennheiser's pro-grade level products are made - the MK4 creates recordings of a high calibre. One of the central facets of this high-quality construction is the 24-carat gold plated diaphragm. This means that the conductive qualities of the transducer are second to none. The full metal housing means that it's tough - not only is it ideal for the studio but it's great for live application too. Whilst the use of an external shock mount is recommended with every microphone - the MK4 comes with a capsule shock mount that is on the inside of the microphone, helping minimise noise.
