Intuitive preamp settings
With 16 unique voices within preamp mode, users can find their perfect settings for use with vocals, acoustic and electric guitars, bass guitars, keyboards and many more.
The MIC500USB has four varied voices. These are neutral, warm, warm and limiter, and limiter. Neutral aims to provide you with a clean, natural sound, commonly associated with solid state designs. Warm adds rich harmonics and lightly saturates the signal when pushed, creating a natural form of compression, an effect commonly achieved by vacuum tubes. Selecting warm and limiter is an excellent choice for injecting tonnes of vintage mojo into your recording with a greater sense of urgency and excitement. Finally, the limiter setting adds density and a continuous output level for notes below clipping level.
Quality control
Perfect for both studio and live applications, the MIC500USB provides users with a wide array of controls including switches for +48V phantom power, 20 dB pad, phase reverse, and limiter, plus a vintage-style gain and output knob. Monitoring is made easy with a precise 8-segment LED metre and the preamplifier can even be used as a professional direct injection box for incredible signal integrity.
