The Moog MINITAUR features a 100 percent analog signal path, resulting in a rich, deep, raw analog sound. It is a compact bass machine that packs a huge amount of power. The MINITAUR features 2 oscillators, providing a square and sawtooth wave, essentials for creating a wide range of bass sounds. If you're in need of thicker, deeper, and powerful low-end, the MINITAUR is for you.
Sound Design
Designing bass sounds with the Moog MINITAUR is simple. It utilises the most important functions for sound design and performance, allowing you to quickly dive in and create a great sound. The MINITAUR offers a range of parameters for creating powerful, dancefloor-shaking bass. It provides 2 chunky oscillators, a classic Moog ladder filter with resonance control envelopes, an LFO, plus glide control. The MINITAUR is ideal for sound designers who love to create sounds from scratch. You can save and recall up to 128 presets directly from your MINITAUR's front panel, via MIDI controller, or with the free MINITAUR editor/librarian software.
New Features
The MINITAUR contains a range of new features. There are now 5 modulation source for you to choose from, allowing you to get creative with your sonic palette. You can choose to modulate oscillator 2 only. Pair this with Hard Sync to create syncopated metallic sweeps and surges. Additionally, the MINITAUR features CV-to-MIDI conversion, allowing you to bring control voltage into your DAW for analog control over digital circuits.
