The SubZero Detroit Semi Acoustic Guitar is inspired by the classic Bass designs of the 1960's, offering not only the same look and classic colours, but also the same materials and construction. With a Maple body and set in neck, along with a Maple centre block, and a Rosewood fretboard, the construction is true to the vintage models. The classic look is finished off with an adjustable bridge and vintage style trapeze tailpiece, specially designed covered humbuckers, and chrome machine heads, giving a vintage look that will really stand out on stage.
Classic Sound and Tone
The SubZero Detroit is equipped with two covered humbuckers, and volume and tone controls for both pickups, giving a classic bass sound. This versatile guitar has an array of tones, with a great sustain. Flick the pickup selector switch to the neck pickup you will have a smooth, deep 60's tone, but flick the switch the other way, and you will have a precise funky pop. With the selector in the middle you can get almost everything in between. With a slim Maple neck and high quality Rosewood fretboard, this bass guitar really is a joy to play.
