The GRG170DX is powered by a trio of Ibanez Infinity R/RS Pickups, with Infinity R Humbuckers at the bridge and neck, and an RS Single Coil in the middle. The Infinity pickups deliver a versatile array of tones that work for a variety of different music styles. The pickups produce clean notes with thick, harmonic tones, and plenty of punch. Easily shape your ideal sound with the Volume, Tone and 5-way Pickup Selector controls.
Crafted With Mahogany Body
This GIO Electric Guitar is crafted with a strong, mahogany body which is a tonewood that works exceptionally well with punchy rock music. The mahogany delivers plenty of resonance, for a tone that sounds thick and full. Mahogany has warm tonal characteristics, as well as offering pronounced low-mids with a good amount of grind and growl.
