Key Features
Product Ref: 92233
The ENGL Z-11 acts as a 'middle man' between an amplifier and a MIDI footswitch (or other MIDI device). It lets you integrate a MIDI controller with your amplifier, even if the amp doesn't have a MIDI input. This provides you with a powerful remote solution and opens up the world of MIDI control options.
The ENGL Z-11 MIDI switcher lets you remotely control almost any amplifier that has remote switching capability. If your amplifier has 1/4'' SPST jack socket inputs for accessing remote functions, the Z-11 MIDI switcher will allow you directly control all of those inputs with one device. If you had previously thought that your amplifier was limited to its proprietary footswitch, the Z-11 may radically increase your control possibilities.
The Z-11 has 3 stereo jack outputs that allow up to 6 electronic loops to be opened or closed - when these loops are connected to an amplifier with stereo jack cables, they allow you to control 6 of your amplifier's functions. These loops can be saved in up to 128 presets, and then enabled via the MIDI input, whether you choose to use an ENGL MIDI footswitch or another device of your own choosing.
The ENGL Z-11 includes an S.A.C. output allowing control over S.A.C. equipped ENGL amplifiers. This gives the option of bypassing the 6 stereo loops and instead using 1 cable to control all of your amp's switching functions. The Z-11 also includes a MIDI Thru, enabling control of MIDI equipped devices, or simultaneous use of the MIDI and loop-switching capabilities for use with two independent amplifiers, for example.
