Beautifully Finished Basswood Body

The Ibanez RG852MPB features a strong and sturdy basswood body finished in a captivating ghost fleet blue burst colour. Players will love the elegant contours and the comfortable performance, suitable for a range of playing styles. In addition, a double cutaway design offers easier access to the higher frets and flexibility across the whole maple fingerboard.

The Maple/Wenge Neck

The Ibanez’s neck is crafted from maple and wenge, creating an incredibly bright tone with an excellent sustain and a smooth projection. Plying multiple woods together helps strengthen the neck more than single wood necks, offering more stability for the increased tension of 8 strings. They also prevent warping and bending from extensive performances. The neck offers a 430mmR raduiswhich is designed for shredders and lead guitarists as its thin nature helps players perform swift and nimble runs with ease.

Bound Birdseye Maple Fingerboard

The 2018 RG Series Ibanez is equipped with a bound birdseye maple fingerboard, offering a stunning aesthetic and a smooth playing feel.
