This signature model has a solid Sitka spruce top and solid mahogany back and sides, giving it a balanced, powerful sound that can be naturally amplified via the Fishman Matrix Infinity pickup system.

The Richie Havens D-40 has a three-piece mahogany and walnut neck with a rosewood fingerboard and bridge. The double-pickguard setup is a particular tribute to Havens, and the guitar also features red spruce bracing and a slim neck heel.
