Lightweight Body

The Fender American Professional Telecaster Deluxe is the perfect guitar for any level of player, as its lightweight body means it can be wielded all night long. Crafted with a solid alder body, players can achieve a resonant and balanced tone with plenty of clarity. Fender have used alder as their tonewood of choice for electric guitars since the 1950's as the balanced response and slight upper middle definition makes it perfect for rock and blues playing. Finished in a limited edition silverburst colour, the body is given a gloss polyurethane coating to protect the guitar from wear and tear while providing a smooth texture. The guitar also features a full host of classic Fender appointments, including skirted amp control knobs, angled headstock, six saddle bridge with string-through body and a pickguard.

Smooth Deep-C Maple Neck

The smooth deep-C neck profile has been especially designed for comfort and speed, providing substantial shoulders which creates a more natural feel in the player's hand, and is also perfect for achieving chords and single notes. The FSR version features an ebony fingerboard, offering players a fast attack with a controlled bass and snappy highs.

Narrow Tall Frets

Another new addition on this model are 22 narrow tall frets which are mounted on the ebony fingerboard. These are slightly narrower than standard medium jumbo frets and are effective for bending notes and playing chords with superb intonation. They also offer extreme comfort, and improve hand flexibility.

Real Bone Nut

The American Professional Tele also features a real bone nut, which maintains its classic appearance. The main benefit of a real bone nut compared to modern materials is that bone offers an excellent resonance and sustain. A bone nut also delivers a very balanced tone, and will last a long time. In addition, this type of nut naturally self lubricates and helps you stay in tune for longer.

Shawbucker Pickups & Treble Bleed Circuit

The Telecaster Deluxe is equipped with a pair of warm, rich-sounding Shawbucker humbucking pickups which are voiced specifically for each position, producing powerful, nuanced tones with flexibility. Both pickups add a touch of girth to the original Telecaster tone, and can be used in many different styles of music. As well as these vintage voiced pickups, the Fender Tele also features a treble bleed circuit which maintains the high-end when played at low volumes, for home practice when loud volume isn't permitted.

Elite Moulded Case

All of Fender’s American Professional series include a special hardshell case to ensure it remains protected during transportation. The Elite moulded case features body-hugging contours which holds your guitar firmly in place, protecting it against knocks and bumps. TSA latches are also included for enhanced security and easy access, ensuring your guitar remains safe and secure during transportation or storage. This durable case also stackable for easy storage and transport.
