Ash Body and Maple Neck

Featuring an ash body with a bolt-on maple neck and maple fingerboard, the TE-254 delivers bright, sweet tones with classic characteristics. The ash tonewood is both lightweight and resonant, providing a pleasing high end with firm lows and a slightly scooped midrange. The maple neck adds tightness and cut to brighten up the sound, whilst the maple fingerboard smooths out the tone for added sweetness and snap. The ESP guitar’s neck and fingerboard delivers a sparkling, sizzling high end, a thick, firm low end, and opens up the mids to create a snappy attack.

String-Thru Construction

The traditional flat-mount bridge features a string-thru body construction to provide an improved tonality and sustain, allowing the guitar's notes to project beautifully. This is achieved by transferring vibrations and resonance from the strings to the body as it goes over the bridge and passes through the guitar.
