Constructed from a Quilt Ash body and Mahogany neck the Dean Performer QA offers a snappy and bright tonality with deep low response creating a well-rounded and versatile tonality. Finished in a gloss natural finish the Performer QA both looks and sounds impressive whilst the C profile neck contributes a resonant tone and effortless playability.
Incorporating a powerful and versatile Dean Preamp the Performer Quilt Ash can easily be connected to amplifiers and PA systems whilst the Peizo pickup located in the sound hole accurately reproduces the natural tone of the Performer. The Preamp system also features a range of built in controls including a 3-band EQ, volume and enhance controls to allow you to shape your tone before the signal even reaches the amplifier. Perfect for quick tone adjustments between songs the Dean Preamp also has a built in tuner with LED display for seamless tuning on the fly as well as the innovative Aphex Aural Exciter and Big Bottom Circuit.
Featuring the powerful Aphex Aural Exciter technology the Dean Performer QA has the ability to enhance the sonic quality and natural harmonics of the guitar by subtly boosting detail, clarity and presence to deliver studio quality tones in a live situation. Additionally the Big Bottom Circuitry boosts the low frequency power and punch by extending the low response to create a deep and full bodied tone without adding any bass muffling.
