Dean ML XM Guitar

Impressive & Well-Designed ML Body Shape

The ML is an impressive body shape which is guaranteed to make a strong statement on stage. The ML shape was created by Dean Zelinsky in 1977 with the idea of spreading the mass of the body over a large area, in order to maximise sustain and improve tone. The ML was named posthumously with the initials of Zelinsky's friend Matthew Lynn who had died.

Equipped With DMT Design Pickups

Loaded with two DMT Designed pickups in the bridge and neck position, this Dean ML XM guitar delivers a powerful and punchy tone with plenty of bottom end and sparkling highs. Perfect for a range of playing styles and music genres, the DMT Designed humbuckers are extremely versatile and particularly excel when used for hard rock and metal.

Smooth, Comfortable Neck

The Dean ML XM has a smooth, C-profile, maple neck for that extra comfort. Fitted with a bolt-on neck, the guitar can achieve sharp and firm metal tones with ultimate snap and twang.

Lightweight Paulownia Body

The paulownia body is an extremely lightweight tonewood, this enables you to rock comfortably for longer during those long gig nights. Paulownia offers sparkling, bright tones which create the perfect tone with the rich, soft rosewood fingerboard and when partnered with a deep, heavy amplifier.

String-Thru Body

The Dean ML XM incorporates a string-thru body construction to provide improved tonality and sustain by transferring vibrations and resonance from the string to the body as it goes over the tune-o-matic bridge and passes through the body.

Robust, Powerful & Compact Amplification

This 25W Electric Guitar Amp by Gear4music features a 8" speaker in a robust speaker cabinet. A powerful, compact amp that is also highly portable. The speaker is protected by a striking metal grille, completing a modern and purposeful look. Chunky plastic corner protectors are fitted, along with an expanding plastic carry strap on the top of the unit. The amp's tilt design allows the amp to be ideally positioned for directional listening.

Customisable Sounds & Controls

The control panel features rotary Gain, Volume and 3 band EQ dials to give you control over a wide variety of sounds. The rocker power switch, with accompanying status LED, is located at the far right of the control panel.

A footswitch input on the back of the amp enables connection of a latching footswitch to move hands-free between the clean and drive channels (latching footswitches are available separately). Also ideal as a front end for modelling effects pedals, due to the combination of effects with send and return connections, and the very clean tone which can be achieved with this amp.
