The resonance controls the depth of the filter, whether it be classically shallow or with modern richness. The sweep controls the frequency range that phases. This is used to achieve a high pitched, energetic effect, or a low pitched and darker one. The depth is how much the low or high the frequency filters of the sound are swept. The Robot has all these features to give you an in depth phasing effect.
