Shape your ideal distortion effect

Equipped with 3 simple control knobs, the Fat RAT Distortion provides players with the opportunity to shape their most intense sound yet. This pedal tone can be sculpted using the iconic Filter control as well as the Volume and Distortion knobs. The Filter control is for adjusting the frequencies to ensure that you’ll have enough brightness to slice through the mix like a bullet through a balloon. The Volume of course controls the projection of the pedal, and the Distortion knob manages the amount of gain present. There is also a Fat switch on-board that enhances the bass tones in the low-end, fattening up the gain; and with the Clipping switch, users can select either classic silicon or mosfet clipping which provides a smooth sculpt for a more natural tone.

The You Dirty RAT Distortion is hand built in the USA and is constructed with an incredibly heavy-duty steel casing, with industrial knobs, footswitch and jacks. The strong and sturdy build provides you with a unit that will withstand even the most lengthy and rigorous stomping performances. This pedal has an appearance that is as dark and sinister as its sound, complete with a black metallic finish with white accents that will blend in beautifully to any stage. The glow in the dark graphics pair beautifully with the LED on/off indicator light so that you’re guaranteed optimum visibility on stage – helping you focus on your performance.
