The hoop clamps have been extended, along with the jaw width. This provides additional grip onto the thin metal plates – common on many electronic drum pads. The clamp is 3mm longer than the P800TW clamp, allowing the pedal to attach firmly to the ridged bar on electronic drum pedal plates. Overall, the Mapex Armory P810TW Single Bass Drum Pedal is the P800TW, but with added strength, grip, and versatility.
