The Dean Colt Semi-Hollow includes regular humbucking pickups alongside an under-bridge piezo system to give you both electric-guitar and acoustic-guitar tones. The stereo output (via one jack socket) allows you to blend your tones and provides exceptional versatility on this guitar; ideal for when it isn't practical to change to an acoustic instrument or if you'd simply like to explore new tonal possibilities. The DMT design humbuckers provide the traditional guitar tones that you'd expect, and can range from mellow cleans through to biting lead tones.
Hollow-Body Design
The Colt Semi-Hollow is constructed from lightweight and resonant maple to provide excellent acoustic resonance. The centre block provides sustain while the maple top finishes it off with a classy aesthetic. The neck is a set-neck design giving excellent left-hand comfort when traversing the fingerboard.
