Loaded with a trio of Lipstick Single Coil Pickups, the Danelectro '84 can produce a whole range of beautiful sounds for a versatile performance. The 'S-Style' Lipstick pickups deliver clean and airy tones, with plenty attack and chime; and the pickups have a classy appearance too. There are also Master Volume and Master Tone controls onboard which allows you to sculpt your own classic guitar sound and with the 5-way switch you can select the ideal pickup combination.
Crafted With Alder Body
The Danelectro 84's alder body offers an incredibly balanced tone and the perfect dynamic range to suit most musical styles. Alder provides excellent sustain and resonance to ensure that each note is heard. Its bright, sizzling highs, rounded lows, and beefy midrange allow you to achieve the perfect sound for most situations.
Maple Neck & Rosewood Fingerboard
The '84 neck has a satin finish that offers great comfort and speed for fast hand manoeuvres. The maple neck provides bright, twangy tones, with exceptional sustain and plenty of snap. The neck is paired with a rosewood fingerboard that enhances the guitar's tone with richness and dynamics, creating sparkling highs and firm lows.
Equipped With Quality Hardware
The Danelectro '84 features a Wilkinson 2-Point Floating Tremolo bridge that provides a slightly more modern aspect to the guitar, and accommodates aggressive pitch bending whilst still returning to its original pitch.
