Recording Live Performances And Rehearsals
The LR-16 offers single button recording functionality, allowing you to record straight away at the touch of a button. The inputs record directly to their respective tracks, so there is no need to assign any channels or set-up separate audio tracks for multi-track recording. The V2 firmware update allows the user to record 2,4,5 and 16 track wave files at 16/24 bit and 44.1,48 and 96kHz (depending on USB performance) while automatically naming and numbers tracks and folders. With its straight forward recording function, there is no need for all the extra equipment usually required to record, allowing you freedom from surplus wiring.
USB Audio Interface
Once you've finished recording your session, the LR-16 will double up as a computer audio interface, simply by connecting the LR-16 to the USB port with its plug and play compatibility, giving you a high quality 16 X 2 USB audio interface. With the V2 firmware update, it also acts as a Mackie Control & MMC Transport Control for your chosen DAW. Zero latency hardware monitoring and a built in mixer ensure error free recording and flexible, hassle free set-up; making the LR-16 versatile and user friendly.

*** Due to the varying performance standards of USB Thumb drives we do not guarantee error free performance on that format. We strongly suggest the use of standard USB 2.0 hard drives for optimal success rate. For mission critical recordings we always suggest that you make an extended test recording on any new drive prior to your session. For more information on the LR-16 please refer to the PDFs above.
