But just because it looks old doesn't mean it has to sound old! The modern construction grants you a superb low-end for such a small instrument, affording you excellent versatility with a guitar that's easy to transport.

And that's not all, the open pore mahogany top improves the resonance and projection further, giving you enough volume to stand above a mix. It even reduces the weight of an already nimble guitar, meaning you'll have no trouble wielding this guitar, whether that's at a campfire or a concert.

Mad for mahogany

Sweet, dark and rich. Mahogany is a material that provides a bounty of tones, particularly through the lows and mids. Featuring this capable wood as its soundboard in addition to the back and sides, the Core PE gives you a warm, full tone that's darker than spruce. Your chords and melodies will flow with weight and detail thanks to the solid construction, which provides stunning resonance and shimmer.

Fantastic ovangkol fretboard

Like rosewood, ovangkol opens the same tonal dimensions. Just like the mahogany found in the body and neck, ovangkol will infuse your notes with a full midrange and warm character. Every note will be pronounced, blossoming and defined. Boasting a comfortably shaped mahogany neck, you'll get an easy grip to allow you to play for hours.

Set with a genuine water buffalo bone nut and saddle, your strings will be locked down for maximum sustain. Every vibration from your strings will transfer through into the body to draw out the detail of the tonewoods.
