About Sonor

Founded in 1875, Sonor started manufacturing military drums, from there they developed into making the masterpieces you see today packed full of almost 150 years of experience. The first Sonor drum kit was made in 1952 and today's various Sonor series have captured the very essence of this. Smart Connect

Sonor's revolutionary Smart Connect system allows for a seamless set-up and pack-down. It uses a ball clamp and lever mechanism to result in super easy usability. Various angles and adjustments can be made thanks to the cylindrical axle connection, allowing you to adjust the pedal to the perfect position. The docking station stays in place on the bass drum hoop to reduce wear and tear and the pedal attaches directly to that.

Non-slip Base Plate

The non-slip base plate on the Sonor Giant Step Single Pedal is comprised of a rubber profile with self-adhesive velcro to eliminate unwanted movement during your playing. The rubber inserts are grooved to provide the best possible grip on any surface and the velcro insert works perfectly on carpets to stay firmly in place. The frustrations of a moving kick pedal are completely gone with the Sonor Giant Step Single Pedal.
