2008 Model - For an exotic Plasma-Lacquer finish we start with thin, genuine basswood shells and then employ a unique eight-step finishing process that gives a three-dimensional textured lacquer surface that's unlike any other. What's more, the V-series comes with everything you need to start creating the moment you open the box. V series sets include drums, double braced hardware, pedal and throne.

Besides Plasma-Lacquer, the V-series also comes in a traditional Wax Lacquer. With natural Oak and Cherry finish, the brand new finished that first offering in Mapex V-series.
